About The Lorax Movie...
I just came home from watching the movie based off the Dr. Seuss book, "The Lorax". It's basically, as most of you know, a story with a powerful, yet sadly controversial messeage. The socially conscious issue of environmentalism, and the horrors of consumerism. Even back in the '70's, when the book was published, made a heated debate in politics. And it's still happening today. One politican stated that the movie "was Obama and Hollywood's way of pushing their left-wing propaganda at us" or something like that. Trying to protect the environment is not propaganda. Ah, politics and greed can go together. It makes me sad and angry. From where I live, in New Jersey, the water is murky, and it was only when I went to the Caribbean, that I actually saw what a BLUE ocean looks like. It's a shame that future generations might not be able to look at a blue ocean, or a blue sky, or some species of animals, etc. I'm sure Dr. Seuss is applauding his adaptation of his work up there, and I pray that now that his message comes back into the light, people would wake up and realize what's happening to our planet before it's too late.

It's hard to explain what a wax museum character is.. it's like you pretend to be a person, especially a famous one, you pretend to freeze, and when people step on a "button" next to you, you tell them who you are through your persona, like their biography, where they were born, their achievements, spouse(s) and their children, their death if they died yet, etc. I'm going to make Dr. Seuss proud by planting some trees beyond my backyard because my neighbor trimmed and cut them down, and I used to love to be under those trees until he cut them.
