The Mayan calander never stated the world would end. It shows on that date their calander ends its cycle just like our calander ends every year. December 21st the mayan calander ends its cycle and starts a new. The media and business in general profit the most they possibly can by over stating the significance of this date.

True.. True.. It's the media that really "enhances" mostly the common thoughts today.
For example the, the block of ice falling from the sky in europe, when it was actually just frozen water from a plane... And then the media begins to enhance the idea of "aliens"... it's just like putting powdered milk on simple water, mix it and you get a new taste...
