Seriously Irked.

As a few people may know, Nynaeve sells our artwork at cons, since i'm too chicken to go. One of those cons is coming up in a few months. Califur. However, after finally getting some time to peruse the site to see when the Dealer's Den tables are going up for sale, we discover, of course, that they are sold out. Now, that's business as usual and I understand n' all, but what's irritating? Despite being told by numerous people that we'd be CONTACTED when sales started, not one word to be had. Nothing. Zip. End result? More then likely, a...lessee...6 month delay in the debut of a project we've been working hard on for two years now. Delays delays delays. THAT is what has me irked more then anything. Worse yet? Most of those are just the dread RL rearing it's ugly head.
On a good note however, I WILL be updating and putting more art up FINALLY. About damn time too. >.> Lots of good stuff. Nynaeve's done some finishing work on some sketches of mne that just blow me away. Gotta get it up and out there for all of you. :)
Back to the ick though. If something doesn't come through at Califur, more then likely Nynaeve will not be attending. No room, no dealers table, no way to break even and cover costs. <:P So here's hoping the waiting list is short (HAH!) or something lucky happens (also HAH!) to one or both of us.

Sorry to hear things have turned sour. I'm looking forward to seeing some stuff! Nine months of "Will Post Soon!" has turned into nine months of nothing, so you can be sure this batty fan is looking forward to seeing something! After more than a year of waiting, I bet there's a lot to see!

Ugh has it been that long? Yeah, things IRL have turned to shite all again and I got pounded hard with RL. Was supposed to ebute the webcomic at FC this year. No luck. Last year, we had...lessee...Tooth issues, new dog versus tghe furniture issues, nephew and foster care issues, car issues....and that was just since September. Ahh well. At least I know FC table sales are coming soon. Watching their webpage like a hawk which I think we should have done with Califur instead of relying on a verbal promise from several people. -.- Nynaeve's taking it pretty hard though. He is SERIOUSLY upset. I'm just PO'd. >.>

Off-topic, but....someone actually named Nynaeve?! Is that her REAL name? I only ask because I've ONLY ever seen that name in Robert Jordan's totally awesome "Wheel of Time" series.

*LOL* Actually, Nynaeve is the name of my RL sweetie, and art seller/artist at cons since I have issues getting there and being there. >.> He actually came up with the name before either of us was even aware of the series existence. Convergent naming evolution I guess.
