JOHN CARTER is pretty good....

Kinda Star Wars nerdy, but I don't think it will have the same cultish appeal that those films generated all that time ago. Looks gorgeous- the IMAX 3D is pretty stunning. Very corny throughout, but eh- it's actually really charismatic and fun. Don't expect a masterpiece, but just sit back and have a little fun- check your brain at the door as they say.
Also... 21 Jump Street. Go see it! :)

21 Jump Street... any relation to that silly 80's drama?
Yes JUMP STREET is based on the TV show but it's completely spoof action comedy (think PINEAPPLE EXPRESS). It's very good. <3
Okay, if it is humourous, then I am convinced
It looks as epic as Avatar was, so... any truth to that?
Also, I have wanted to see this since I first saw a teaser for it a while back. When I first saw the teaser, I thought they made another video game into a movie. Anyone ever heard of "The Mark of Kri"? Kinda reminded me of the tribal tattoos from that game.
Anyhow, the visuals look stunning and again, absolutely excited for IMAX 3D!!! Wheeeeeeeee!!!
Anyhow... I am thinking about seeing it again in IMAX 3D this coming Friday!
Go see it people!
Also from a business perspective short movies are easier to schedule at good times that are accessible to the public at times they want to go. Very difficult to cater for everyone with long films. ;)
The 3D popped more, the picture was more vibrant, the sound was awesome and everything was just way better!
With all of the previews they showed on IMAX 3D, I now only want to see them that way and no other. I mean, if I am going to pay 13 for a movie in regular, not the best quality theaters vs 15-17 for IMAX, I am comfortable paying the IMAX prices just to have a better experience.
But yes- I like your philosophy! That is how you protect things that you love- by supporting them and having a good perception of value.
