Mass Effect 3... and giving away some xbl gold!

Feel free to discuss it but NO SPOILERS PLEASE!
I am loving this game so far. While there are some things about 2 that I miss, and some that I wish were different ( ;_; ) ME3 has me. It's also really cool that the multiplayer affects the single player campaign!
My 360 copy of the game came with two free days of Gold and I have no use for it so I may give the code away to someone who wants it.

I'm angry that they used the booster pack type of progression, since I was addicted to pokemon in my youth because of the possibility of getting something amazing.
Compared to the original, where not only do you determine who among your party survives and who dies (pretty much the only thing you do in ME2), you also get to save a species from extinction (or wipe out the last members of the species), and determine whether or not to expend human lives to save the Council. The only important decision I recall from ME2 is whether to leave the Omega Reaper/Collector facility intact for Cerberus or destroy it.
From a mechanics point of view I can see why allowing a bypass import is something they didn't go to the undoubtedly excessive trouble of including. That's time and resources better spent elsewhere.
They already have three dozen variables to track through the first two games. It's not any more difficult to randomly generate, or allow the player to select a certain number of outcomes, from the list of possibilities and roll from there. Hell, they could have allowed folks starting new ME3 characters to just decide each outcome from every major turning point in the first two games and doubled or tripled the game's replay value.
I can see them maybe making some sort of import save generator that lets you custom flag decisions as a dlc piece though.
