So my little Asus EEE PC netbook is dying, and I yam sad. I then crushed this sadness by SPENDING MONEY.

I got the new Asus (GEE CAN YOU TELL I LIKE THE COMPANY) Eee Transformer Prime, which is a tablet that comes with a QWERTY Keyboard dock that extends battery life (16 hours when docked), USB ports, and other nifty stuff. The OS on it is super nice, the specs are hilariously high (i3 Quad-core), the sound is nice, and according to my dad it's "Embarrassingly easier to navigate than my iPad 2".

Also, there was only one for sale within 100 miles of where I lived o_o I literally mean one; One store had one left in stock when I called. It's clearly selling well! Even Gamestop carries it! (USUALLY, sold out everwhere haha)

Am happy. But my poor lappy, I'm very pack-ratty and nostalgiay. For christmas, I built a close friend of mine a cool desktop for him to use/game on, because he had been using a laptop I got in HIGH SCHOOL for over a year. I feel bad looking at it, nobody wants it anymore and it served me well, and my friend, but it's almost junk now. Old, falling apart, out dated, charger has been replaced and even the NEW one is held together with electrical tape, and it requires a cooling pad to do anything that isn't Firefox.

So I'm sad to see my netbook go, too. I think it'll take me a couple of hours of looking through it to clear out old files, save stuff I'm attached to, and then finally kill it with a format. I'm donating it to a computer store near me that recycles old computer, so I want it clean and formatted for that.

I'm such a soppy computer person ;-;
