After reading this journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3252756/
I wrote an e-mail to the church.

I wrote an e-mail to the church.
Subject: Reprehensible Conduct
Message Body:
I find it quite abhorrent that you would terminate the employment of Ethan Mills solely on the grounds of his sexuality. Such bigoted actions are deplorable and can only come from morally bankrupt individuals, which must be an overwhelming majority in your congregation. I will endeavor to bring this situation to the light of every media outlet possible. I will inform state and local LGBT groups of your depraved policy. I refuse to allow people to believe they can discriminate at will as long as they are hiding behind a curtain of religion.
Homosexuality is natural; it occurs in nature across several species; it does not cause harm; and there is nothing that can be done to change a person's sexuality. Even your former minister, Ted Haggard, engaged in homosexual acts. Can it not be any more clear? I assume it is not when your vision is distorted by bronze age myths.
I really hope this church conducts some introspective and admits their wrongdoings. I would love to see a public apology for Ethan and anyone else the church excommunicated. I am not expecting much deviation from the intolerant, narrow-minded, dogmatic, and prejudiced policies. Hopefully I will be surprised, but I am not going to hold my breath.

You should be more specific when you say 'bigoted church'. If I hadn't read your previous journal I could have assumed you were emailing almost any house of worship.

Very eloquently put. I doubt that the personnel in their office will ever read any of the emails sent, but this should get them thinking if they do. The Bible preaches love, not hate. For these guys, who supposedly support and preach said Bible, to dismiss someone out of hate, or hate for their sexual orientation, is hypocrisy at its finest. :-\
