Macro Artist of the Month
★ ~ | | ~ ★
Have a look at their gallery!
In short, what are the macrophilia artists out there you love the most? Either they be popular, bizarre or new and need exposure! We'll likely feature them in our "Artist of the Month" which is one of the new group features.
#. dj-rodney
Why: Sure, he's more of a 'foot' artist rather than a macro artist but when he draws macro it's always amazing. Some artists draw macro works and you think something like: "I love these works, but I'm not really fond of those ones" With Rodney, I've never found a macro pic that I didn't like, so I think he deserves some attention. =3
#. loom
Why: This account is fairly new but it's governed by two people: hierrotatsu and askmeaboutloom, the latter one being the most active one. The account features some of the most extraordinary macro scenes you've ever seen, so I don't have to explain why I put it up here! =P
#. bigsol
Why: Macro's and Kangaroos... no wait, let me rephrase that: MEGA KANGAROO pics. Seriously, what's not to like about that? If you like megas and feet then go show this guy some love already! ;)
#. burbarbeers
Why: Because he needs some love\recognition as well. His character is a giant Polar bear with big feet who likes to smush micros underneath them. If that's what you're looking for then you're at the right adress. XD
#. kify
Why: Albeit she's more active on her Pixiv account under the name ぬささめ さね (or just visit: http://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=47761 ). I don't think I have to say anymore, she draws macro and she does a great job at it. She's been inactive, but when she posts it feels like a new experience every single time! You'll glance over her pics for quite some time until you feel like 'moving on'. ^_^
#. teaselbone
Why: Teasel has been my favourite macro artist ever since I've discovered the furry world. Sure, I like Sample's work too, but Teasel has just that extra bit of 'soul' in his drawings that make me fall in love with them.
#. diablotherex
Why: Long before I stranded on FA I was in a place called: Lavadomefive and Diablo (then called Mr. Snail) introduced me to the wonderful world of dinosaurs and their feet. =3
#. littlecharmander
Why: A personal friend and foot addict such as myself. Come on! You know you want to browse through his gallery. Also, look at his pageviews, you should be ashamed of yourself not to have discovered him earlier! So click that +watch button already will yah? <3
And those are all the peeps I can think of! I'm sure there are more I like, but I guess I didn't think of them when I wrote this list. ^^;
These are the ones that matter for me, that I had a fond memory of or left an impression on me (no pun intended). =)
Hope you had fun! I surely did! ^_^
My votes for fave macro artists include the following:
Also, I'm very flattered that some folks actually appreciate my macro artworks. I'm not the best, but I do my best to show my love and devotion to the style. Thank you.
Also how the heck is Rogue an artist? He draws nothing. Does having a Scribble suit make one an artist now? He doesn't even do collages... He writes granted.
Rogue definitely deserves a mention for his written work, but you do have a point. A lot of the 'artists' listed here are simply prominent members of the Macro community who have a lot of drawings of them.
i don't think she has an fa, but tidekeeper on y gallery is an incredible macro and growth artist that i don't think too many fa macro lovers know about. ^^
dnapalmhead
and basicly anyone on my watch list

I can do macro art. Just not as often as most already mentioned here.
