Lol. A lot of countries, especially in Asia, teach mathematic concepts from basic algebra to calculus together instead of separately. And are there child and adult ponies on that show? If not, then how we know that they aren't considerably older and the one's with a 'Blossom' mentality have thus gotten to reading college calculus books? Of course, if the pony daydreaming about what appears to be teaching is the only one extremely fascinated with learning, then I guess I'm not suprised that she appears to be the Dexter of Ponies.

The daydreaming pony is daydreaming about her teacher, Ms. Cheerilee. The song is a about finding her teacher a boyfriend. The signing pony is just that, a singer.

Regarding pony college, we never see a pony college, though that of course doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

However, the main six ponies whose adventures we usually see are much older than these three, yet still not adult, and they clearly don't go to school. In fact only the nerdiest of them appears to have been studying well into young adulthood before she shows up in town with no social skills.

If there is a pony college, it would seem that most ponies either don't go, or don't go for as long as Twilight did, and when they do graduate they graduate at a much younger age than we do, making them highly advanced ponies.

Thanks for the background info. They may be like the archtypical elf: they age far more slowly than other beings, and they tend to be more intelligent than their youthful features would indicate as a result. For them, I suppose school could be rather advanced following this idea, or perhaps their teacher just has absurdly high expectations of them. My sister is in her first year of college, and one of her professors is treating a class containing primarily 1st. and 2nd. year students as if they were in grad school. It's both infuriating for her, and convenient when he screwed up an exam and gave them a take-home one instead and somehow expected them to not use their notes on it.
