Nice weather we're having, huh?

Boy was I surprised when I stepped out for work yesterday!
A pleasant breeze, warmed by the afternoon sun, gently ruffled by feathers... it seems like it's been forever since it's been hot enough to actually cause me to sweat a little bit! I guess that means winter is officially over... and that's okay. I'll miss it, but it is nice to be able to go outside without heavy coats on. True, nothing's better than coming back to a heated apartment and nestling down in bed after a night of work in the freezing cold, but now at least I can leave a window open and not turn into a frozen gryphon-pop!
As much fun as freezing my tail off and being turned into an ice sculpture can be, winter also had some legitimate reasons I'll miss it. I love taking a walk at night when there's snow on the ground... when the world is quiet, and you can just enjoy the season. Though I'll miss certain non-flu inducing aspects, I am welcoming the spring with open wings, and you should too!

I like winter because there's no stupid bugs... I hate bugs. now they're back and creepy as usual. it feels like we skipped a season where I live. it's been summer like and I hate it (prefers spring)

I'm with you on that.. no bugs is a good thing. :3 I hate it when seasons are skipped, but then the only season I truly fall in love with is fall... which where I live is rarely skipped.
