Just to voice my opinion, the journal asks for a unique name that will attract people's attention, so just choosing a name that "makes you happy" and has nothing to do with furries may not be the best idea. It's your contest, and your rules, but if you're going to be making this a business, it's not about what you want. It's about how you can best pull in customers, and how best to serve them. There's nothing wrong with choosing a name that you like, but if it's something that people can't identify with, it won't be very effective. It's like calling your restaurant "The Slaughterhouse" and expecting people to bring their kids. Just doesn't work out that well.

While certain instances are the exception to the rule (Don't Hug Cacti comes to mind first), these are, as I said, exceptions. All in all, I hope you find the creative name you're looking for, and whoever gets picked is happy with their suit.

Making fursuits has nothing to do with the name. I couldn't care less what we called ourselves. We could go without a name and it wouldn't be much different. In the fandom, it's word of mouth and reviews. If people like our stuff. I don't think a name would turn them away from our quality and our ever evolving style.

This is just a fun way to get (What ever our name may be) Out there and to give one lucky person a free suit. This isn't a super serious thing for Soapy and I. We're going to have fun with it and we want a fun name. If we want to call ourselves "heufjiowpeo" I think we would still get business and people would just get a kick out of the stupid name. We're furries, not super serious businessmen. At least Soapy and I aren't. We'd hope people could take a joke and laugh with us.

And we plan on being that exception one of these days.

Not to knock down your opinion but this is a studio name, not a business name. It's like what ever people want to call them selves in movies like Dickhouse Productions or anything else for that matter. I actually would rather keep kids away from getting a suit. Their too young and still have growing to do as it is and a suit for them would just be a waste of A LOT of money once they grow out of it and it becomes useless.

Just thought i'd throw in, when I had started writing my comment on the joirnal, there was one comment XD i took a while to post, but I read the rules! And then double checked. I guess "fuzzyfurry" was popular because i went through the comments and saw it A LOT. XD

my number one idea turned out, was taken, but i also had a slogan that was the whole name but i thought it was a bit long so i shortened it.

Should probably mention that people can hit "CTRL+F" and then type the name they came up with, this allows them to find potential duplicates over the whole page.

Also, I replied my submission to the user named "Pegla" on the other journal. I expect that you skim the list from top down and try to keep up with the new replies, but mine ended up somewhere halfway. Please use said ctrl+f method to find me the foxhunt way :v

another instance of "Reading is to mainstream" I guess some people can't grasp the concept of reading. I kinda figured that you'd only give it to the "first" person to use the name, and there's a lot of people that seem to like a certain selection of names. Ctrl + F doesn't work on Mac btw... it's Command +F lol just thought i'd bring that up since not everyone has a windows, but pretty sure people who have a mac know how to use it.

It seems like there are a ton of people that aren't trying to be very original so they just offer "furry fuzzy fluffy studios". Hopefully you'll get a cool name out of it though. :]
