when i was born gender issues like mine were dealt with swiftly and often like in my case with little to no knowledge of the parents. much like circumcision. which i also got. they made me male. which i guess is ok since it fits in my head nicely though i kinda miss things i never really had to play with as such. The noticable things were i hit puberty at nine and got Perky breasts! Oh yes the kids were cruel as can be. Luckily i also balloned like a emergency life raft at about the same time so most people dismissed them as fat kid boobs. around i would say maybe fifteen i started getting the stomach cramps of things going on deep inside. i just thought i was sick all the time since i had been in school in a bigger city and the water there sucked ass. as the years wore on they got worse and worse to the point they could make me fall to my knees but i has NO IDEA what the hell was going on. since they were only Kinda regular. in my early twenties they started to go away and i finally got facial hair and more body hair. as the testosterone overpowered the estrogen i guess. My first mate found the scars and figured out that they were indeed surgery scars and not just that little line most guys have. since mine had other aspects to them that indicated such. I know mentally i am more of a female brain than male in a lot of aspects but i certainly have some aspects that are very male. but being both kinda makes it difficult to really mesh with people. but then i would imagine that i am preaching to the choir here on that one.

I always thought Canada was more advanced than that. you have to go through mental counciling here too for it but it is not to be considered a mental disorder so much as ruling out a mental disorder that you are going to maybe get over and regret getting things changed later for. i know it was not like that for a very long time here but honestly i figured Canada and the rest of the world was farther along than we are in that.
