Whew, what an adventure!

Me, & set off on our journey to FE212 at around 1pm on Friday, the roads were pretty clear until the last 33km from Dixon Road where we had a few stops/slow down areas.

We witnessed a total pratt on the road, his car, the rear axle made his back end wobble all over the place & he was weaving through the lanes at VERY high speeds (& very unsafe given what was going on with his car) with barely even a signal to let other drivers know his intentions.

We got to the DoubleTree & picked up our badges, Twizzy had to go register as she had not preregistered like we had & then we went to the Front Desk to check into the Hotel. The room we were given was on the 3rd floor & it smelt a bit weird when we first went in but figured it might go away.

After that me & Zoom went off to go down to the Dealer's Den as I had some Yarn Tails I had made & hoped to try to sell via 2 of my friend's - Alkane & Kaa though I only ended up selling a mini keychain version to a green lamb furry (Ferret technically sold it as I wasn't there at the time) but I did get a couple inquiries for quotes on custom made yarn tails.

I helped (along with Zoom helping a little too) set up his stand & just hung around & chatted with him & some of the others that were helping him & hanging around with him too.

We decided to get some food & I was really craving sushi something awful so we decided to try the sushi place next to thr hotel that I had seen when we got into Toronto, so we went in, sat down, ordered a drink each then saw the prices of the food...needless to say we paid for the drinks & left. We headed to Harvey's instead.

We then back to the Dealer's Den & I asked if I could put my longer yarn tails onto her table - there were a few enquiries as to custom tails that I could possibly make for people, I gave contact details out & Kaa took some details from another person whom I am currently speaking to about custom yarn tail for them.

After the Dealer's Den had closed we went back up to the room. Twizzy mentioned the heating/AC was not working & the windows could not be opened the room was VERY hot (& being from a cold country it was too much for me) & was also getting more smelly which was pretty gross.

We called for someone to come & sort the AC & the guy that came up tried his best to sort it out but it was going to take too long so he said we should call & ask for a new room, so we ended up on the 6th floor, not too far away from Dakk's room.

We headed to the Condition room party hosted by the Condition folks including & where Zoom tried out Slurm but I just had coke instead - I do like alcohol but only when in the mood for it which is like less than a couple times a year LOL.

I got hungry around midnight so me & Zoom decided to try to find one of the restaurant's listed in the conbook, Perkin's except we headed in the wrong direction & walked all the way back to the Hotel to ask the guy at the Front Desk where it was. Anyways not too long after that we were seated in a very nice 24 hour restaurant, I ordered French Toast, it's the one thing in the world that I would eat every single day if I could, Zoom ordered a burger with fries which he enjoyed very much.

We headed back to the hotel again & hung out with Twizzy just chatting away, though at 4am I said we should take cookies & cupcakes along to Dakk's room in case the people in his room had the munchies which they did LOL.

We went to bed soon after but were up early in the morning so we could go get breakfast, from McDonald's as I had brought along some coupons to save some money.

When we were there at McDonald's there were 2 women having a HUGE arguement & making themselves look like idiots swearing & bitching at one another - I mean hello there were kids there, get a freaking grip!

We picked up breakfast for Twizzy too then got sorted to go to the Aboriginal Culture Panel which was very interesting as it was about First Nations (native canadians/americans) & their belief systems, apart from that I mostly hung around the Dealer's Den chatting with people & generally hanging out.

We did spend a while in the pool, meeting up with Solstice & Eoathian. Zoom didn't end up going on the water slides but we were in the hot tub bit for a bit, me with just my feet in it as it was waaaaaaay too warm for me LOL.

We went to Perkin's again for something to eat then came back to get sorted for 's Fetish Ball. It was good fun but I thought there would be a little more to it then there was, I see that he plans on some changes for next year which look very good indeed - I can't wait!

I ended up hungry again so we went back to Perkin's again.

Sunday we were up early as we planned to go to some of the early morning panels again so we needed to be signed out of the room by 12 noon & the panels were on til 1pm so we packed up, signed out & packed the car with our things.

We decided we wanted to do the GreyMuzzles Panel but we left that to go to the Ponies of Equestria one instead, we watched the latest episode of MLP:FiM & discussed about the ponies, focusing on the idiotic mistake of Princess Celestia being pink instead of White. Tiny Tribble told us about her pony collection & what she thought of the mistake made on the colour.

We also attended to Spirituality Panel run by & it was very interesting to hear of their experiences & some of the others in the room as well.

After that we went to the Dealer's Den for a while then headed to Subway for something quick to eat, before returning to the Dealer's Den along with cupcakes & cookies, I gave some to & too.

The Fursuit parade came through the Dealer's Den itself which was cool, I got a few pics of some suiters. had his suit sorted by Kaa so he was able to wander around in it after a few adjustments to it.

A little before the Dealer's Den was due to close, I packed up the yarn tails & the boxes from the baking I brought along to take to the car, then me, Zoom & Twizzy headed to get some seats for the closing ceremony.

I spotted so I went up to join her & Zoom came & sat with me. Flow mentioned that she liked my tail & I was speaking about something I wanted so we've decided to do a art exchange - my half is a long yarn tail custom made for Flow & she's going to make me something epic too! I can't wait!

There were 630 people at FE this year with 160 being part of the Fursuit Parade.

I really enjoyed my 1st Hotel FurCon, I wish I had taken more pictures though but I kept forgetting to take my camera with me, I will need to remember to make sure I take a small backpack next year so I always have it on me LOL.

Next year FE takes place at the Sheraton Hotel instead! Bigger betters rooms here we come!
