Cheating Death - almost died today

So almost died today as i was over taking slow trucks in my NEW car that i have had less then 2 months lol.
The bonnet decided it wanted to open for uhm, extra cooling? anyway.. the bonnet smashed the window and dented the roof in, window almost completely smashed through, almost lost control, etc etc.

Oh thats why. They dont sell those here and they made latches for the hood mandatory in the 90s. I drive a 2003 Ford Taurus SES and it has been good for 200,000 miles so far

oh yeah latches are mandatory here to, this one was just sticking in the open position it seems, well the 2nd latch was sticking open, piece of junk, i put a new one on :P that actully works so that won't happen again
