I'd really like to become a better artist and I want to know what interests people here on furaffinity? I'd like to get my art known but I need to know what you all like (apart from the obvious sexual themes) is there anything that I'm missing?

If you want to become a better artist the simplist thing to do is to just challenge yourself and practice.
If you need more money, do what that other person mentioned and open yourself to more concept in your commissions, enen if you don't like the subject. Personally I wouldn't, but I'm not in your situation.

I don't think you have to draw anything specificly unless you want to target a certain crowd. If there is a certain crowd you want to get the attention of, find out what they value and put out some pieces that cater to them.
