Spring Break!! WOOOHOOO!!! *thud*
While this last term at PSU hasn't been the most stressful, it's still nice to have it done. I feel like, while I still have a long way to go, and don't always feel like this is my spot, I feel better about it now.
So, I'm starting work on a Klingon costume for a friend (commission), but also working on some other things as well. Of course, in order to draft his pattern for his tunic, I need to find the pad where I put his measurements... I could likely just fake it, but I'd *really* rather not. of course, I'm seeing him Saturday for a costuming event (heh heh heh), so I could bring the tape measure and redo his measurements. Whatever happens, whether I find the pad I already wrote them on or do new ones, I'll also enter them into the computer... I just have to keep telling myself that spreadsheets are my friend. Ugh.
I also want to get some writing done... maybe another Kid-Jaeli tale... don't know.
I know some folks use Journals on here to advertise contests and stuff... but I have no need... unless I make some ears or tails and want to sell them... I don't really have anything to sell or trade with... I'm a writer. Although, I could easily do a trade for a short story... kinda like my old fanfic... throw your character into a situation... I'm good (and rather warped) at that sort of thing. Maybe after I'm done with this Klingon costume, I can do some of that sort of thing... if anyone is game...
Back to hunting for a pad of paper... GAH! I wish I could remember what it looked like.

I'd like very much to see some of your costume work...I forgot if you said you have any photos uploaded online or not. When we had dinner with
Man, I would like to get back in the fiction-writing game. It's so awkward to start again, once you stop for a long time.
I came over here to put a call out for costume (non-suit) commissions... I needs a bit of cash to recoup the cost of those damn boots (I'll wear them Saturday perhaps, if you're going to the female meet... then you'll maybe understand why they were calling my name... God, they're fucking gorgeous).
I have cost research to do on one possible commission... but the materials that would be ideal won't be cheap. I could make it in twill... much cheaper... we'll see. I'll present that person with breakdowns of costs.
Put the word out. If anyone wants non-fur costuming stuff, direct them to me. cloaks, masks (leather), gauntlets (also likely in leather), vests, robes, hats (modded to fit ears?), and almost anything else. Leather stuff should preferably be smaller items... leather isn't cheap. I know, I have a half hide to prove it.
