+ A Year Has Passed... +
...since I joined FA.
Yes, it's been a year and 9 days.
Looking back, I'd like to say some "thank you"s, and show you what I like that I've posted within the year.
First of all, thank you to
... he doesn't know this, but he is the reason that this all happened for me.
If I hadn't stumbled on his drawings, became inspired, and finally found him on DeviantArt a year ago... I would have never joined DA or FA.
Secondly,
, because if I hadn't met you, I wouldn't have found the courage to post on a regular basis.
, when Jon invite me to your stream for the first time I was instantly awe struck by your art. At first I was nervous. I have a tendency to scare people off with my high energy and randomness, but as I grew to know you, you've motivated me, inspired me, and have become a cherished friend.
, you've taught me to take some time. To sit back and look at what I'm drawing. That detail is something that shouldn't be shrugged off.
, you make me aspire to be as good as you. As one female artist to another; I look up to you. I see how you draw things from cute and cuddly, to dark and sinister, to sexy and sultry, and I only hope that I can gain the same range as you.
And finally, I'd like to thank all my Watchers, who I've seen on a regular basis, or who were just passing though and happened to have an interest in my work. You've all made me feel happiness and a little bit better as an artist.
Now, away from the sappy stuff, time to show off what I liked the most this year! :D
My very first post to FA, my character, Izzy, and Jon's character, Deanna, having an intimate moment ---> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5399697/
A "Coppertone" inspired poster of Tim Burton's Sally and Zero ---> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5772996/
My fave of my Watcher Appreciation series, JPalo's Kappa woman, Kathy; I really enjoyed experimenting with the different brushes and layering ---> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6173227/
A dark and demented drawing inspired by my favourite game, Haunting Ground. I'm happy with the way it turned out. It was a 5 day project, and I'm proud of it. The colours, the shadows, the layers, everything. ---> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6444865/
It was nice to get back to pencil crayons again with January Masked Woman. I really like this style of framing and drawing ---> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7325322/
and finally, the project that was almost as old as my FA account itself, the Forest Dragon. She was an adoptable bought from Nyuu and gifted to me. it took me almost a year to finally finish this, but I'm happy with the final outcome ---> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7528890/
Thank you, everyone, for a year of happiness, art, and friendship.
