...then presumably pegasi can have earth pony babies.
But since it's been established that earth ponies can't walk on clouds without the aid of powerful magic, what happens when a pegasus has an earth pony baby in Clousdale?
Do they tie balloons to it? Do they give it up for adoption to Ponyville residents? Are there portions of Cloudsdale like Rainbow's house which have solid floors for it to stand on, or do those floors only look solid?

I am sure there is much postpartum depression in Ponyville.
I'd assume if a pegasus births an earth pony it'd be sent down to the ground to live with a family member or a close friend or something. Even if they could stand on the clouds, they certainly wouldn't benefit from flying training or anything. At best they'd be a factory worker with special needs.
