Sort of. The first game is about an alchemist in training and there's lot of stuff to do. It's got little mini jobs, you fight monsters to collect things for creation, there's quests / jobs where you collect certain materials, you make your own armor, you can hire other people in town / main characters to fight along with you, and you can even boost friendship for cheaper hiring prices / better items to buy.

It's great for killing a few hours at a time, and the music is amazing. The voices not so much. xD There is some english dubbing, but I usually fast forward through it due to my speed reading.

Demon's Souls is my all time favorite PS3 game. I'd buy a PS3 just to have the game to be honest. Warning though the game is rather difficult when you first start at learning the controls and everything. It's sort of an RPG type game and you also may want to look into the sequel, Dark Souls.

Alright, so I recommend; Legend of Dragoon, the Xenosaga series, Crono Cross, Portal 1 and 2 (if you like puzzles), Okami, the Disgaea series (although I didn't particularly enjoy number 3), and pretty much any game that is under the Shin Megami Tensie name. Most of the Shin Megami Tensie games are on the PS2 though and can be fairly expensive! I think that can get you started! :3 I hope this helps!

I know that it is on the PSN for purchase. I thought that it was Crono Trigger that was on the DS? Well, that one is pretty good too if you can get a hold of it! :3 No problem at all! I think those games are underrated, they are pretty awesome! ^^ You should check out the Digital Devil Saga and Nocturne as well! I got to play a good bit of those and enjoyed it quite a lot! :3

Killzone 3 & Bioshock if you're into FPSes. Medal of Honor is actually also one of my faves.

Umm I hear Heavy Rain is amaaazing for the story, but I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet because my PS3 is being all fucked-up right now, and won't read dual-layers.

Also, if you're up for a weird type of game (if you don't know the series already, that is), I'd definitely suggest the PS3 Katamari game, Katamari Forever.

What you should do is get on PSN and DL as many of the Demos as your system can handle that looks remotely interesting and give them a try. The one thing that none seem to ever say when it comes to suggesting games is to actually play the demos first and let things go from there. The best way is to always play it yourself so you can be the judge. At least with getting the demos, you can easily get rid of it without regret and little disappointment.

If it's available on PSN get Legend of the Dragoon.
It's an old game for PS1 but it's fucking awesome. It's an RPG similar to Final Fantasy VII except it's actually good.
