After 5 month of silence I thnik I'm ready to post stuff again.... I sort of regret posting those MLP fanarts... ti got me all the wrong kind of attention and those kind of comments get to me. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, and delevery.. and I need to be prepaired for anythingg if I'm going to post openly on the vast internets. I'm jsut very thin skinned and never know how to react...
I know I'm not a great artist, I realise I ahve a lot to improve.... I jsut don't really understand why people are so rude =(
Anyhow... I was gifted a hardware upgrade on my tablet PC.... so I'm wacom-ified again... I've been worknig on a couple of pieces... and I have one other that I'll be posting So we'll see how that goes.

You can't let what people say online get to you. There's always going to be unmindful jerks and pervs and people who generally just can't have a good day without pissing in someone else's cornflakes, online and off of it. I know that can be hard--they can really get to me too, sometimes, but it really is for the best if you just move on and forget about it.
The most important thing as an artist is to find your joy. Draw and create things first and foremost that make you happy. Skill will come eventually; it always does. I'm already seeing significant improvements between your current stuff and the stuff you were doing when I first discovered you. You'll keep improving, so don't worry about that so much.
Skill is not the most important thing about an artist. Your joy is. What you express on paper. That always shows through, no matter if you've been doing art for ten years or ten days.
Again, I urge you to join DeviantArt if you haven't already. They have a MUCH stronger community of novice and beginning artists than FA, which unfortunately seems to be much more oriented around established artists and their groupies/imitators. DeviantArt has community groups that accept art of all levels, plus has support and tutorial groups and more. I'll help you in any way you need to to get set up there. i just hate to see such a promising artist like yourself get discouraged.
But either way I really hope to see more of your work soon! = )
I've had a DA account for a long lnog time but it sits untouched.... when I used to update it I found I didn't get much feedback or make any friends.. so I let the account grow idle... not to mention the fact that you can't post really explicit material... LOL
Maybe my feelings on DA are outdated and I need to give it an other try
Let me know what your DA account is and I'll 'watch' you there. = )
