anyone seen the hunger games movie?

i read the books last year and i loved them, and i've been SO terribly excited to go
see the movie, until i realized that it's probably REALLY graphic ): the problem with
that is, i'm really sensitive to violence in movies and killing and things like that. but
i'm totally fine with tim burton's style of doing gore in movies, like in sweeney todd.
so i was just wondering if anyone could tell me exactly how graphic it is, how realistic
it is, and whether or not you would bring a nine year old child to this movie.
...if you wouldn't bring a nine year old to see it based on violence, i should probably
not see it in theatres, if at all 3:

if it helps my ten year old brother saw it with me and he said it was fine?!

see it in theatres though, from what i've heard from people today,
it's a bit more than i could probably handle. i want to see it
really badly though, so i'll wait until it comes out on the HBO
channel so i can watch it at home during the day-- it won't be
so scary if it isn't dark, and even if it is i won't bother
anybody by screaming xD
