I fully understand. I grew up with the Impala. I had a co worker that owned a Durango. I always thought it was really cool. He didn't take care of the maintenance and ended up trading it. Right now, it might have to be your dad that throws in for the first repairs til you catch a job to start pulling in money. I still haven't finished my car but I'm not currently in a rush to. Starting out is the most expensive while you find all the bad surprises that randomly pop up. When I started my project, I was spending whole pay checks every week just to get the car running. Now that it's freeway ready, it hasn't caused my any problems in months.

Yeah, It obviously will be my dad who'll be paying for most of the maintenance's during my high school years, fortunately (Unfortunate for him).

The Durango isn't so far into the hole yet, though. One of the biggest issues are the Vacuum hoses and the driver-side window. The gears fucked up in the window's motor >.<

I've had the window thing happen on a few vehicles I owned. My first car had a leaky hoses. Then, I had to replaces almost every hose in the Impala. Does your dad know how to do some of this stuff? If you have to pay someone, the cost can vary depending on who you get to do it. From $40 to over $100 per job.

Yeah, my dad is fairly good with this stuff. He's a plumber, carpenter... let's just say he's good with a lot of tools xD

Oh, then he should be able to handle this easily only paying for parts. I'm not good at this stuff. I can fix things on my car but I can't do it right. I pay out because I don't fully trust myself.

Yeah it's good. Chrysler Dodge and Jeep are all owned by the Daimler-Chysler company, which is also partly bought out by Mercedes, or they co-own or something.


But Mopar is Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Plymouth, and something else and I cant remember, and it typically relates to the engines and stuff
