A Call out to all you C++ programmers!

Hello again everyone! Well, things have gotten back into crazy busy mode for me once again. Working 40+ hours a week, drawing a little here and there, trying to somewhat maintain a healthy diet and excercise regimen...its really lots of fun (not really)! Because I seem to just enjoy overburdening myself with a whole bunch of new things, I have recently started to dabble in C++ programming. Im talking bare bones BASIC stuff here. Nothing fancy or worth showing...yet. My rationlization for attempting this is that I do still, in some small part in the back of my mind, want to still work in a video game/ animation studio. Given that C++ is what the vast majority of studios still use to build their games with I figure it would be good idea to know at least a basic understanding of the C++ language. I actually have found it isnt nearly as confusing as I thought it would be, though it still is plenty difficult going solo. Ive managed to get by so far with just tutotorials online and a intro to C++ programming book. This is where my shout out to you all comes in. If there is anyone out there who reads this and is familiar with C++ and thinks they can help me out by maybe giving me some pointers or we can even IM each other while I attempt to program on my end. I would truly appreciate it more than you know! My eventual goal is to make a basic video game that I could not only have as something to show in a portfolio possibly, but also so I can put it out into the world and enjoy knowing that some people out there may actually enjoy playing my games. Anyway...enough rambling for me. I know the majority of you just want me to keep drawing the furry naughty bits :P Off I go to continue that as well!

pointers are memory addresses which are represented in your compiler with hexadecimal values.
you just typed a few random memory addresses
xkcd made that joke as well some time:
http://xkcd.com/138/
come to think of it i wrote them a pair to short 0x 00 - 00 - 00 - 00
but lets assume the first pair was zero in my joke ;P then its still a valid notation.
I don't usually IM, but if you do want help with something you can note me.
