I think pretty much the majority of everyone who finnished ME3 feels the same. There are "Campaigns" on the internet to get the ending changed, or atleast added on so we get closure. Bioware/EA has listened and there will be something announced in April about it. Probably a DLC extra or alternate ending, who knows.

Whatever they plan to do, I don't think I'll trust EA all that much anymore. I'd buy whatever to get a better ending, but I definitely will be a very reluctant repeat customer.

Those campaigns actually succeeded. The president of BioWare actually came out and said that a patch would be released with an altered ending.

Though frankly, I'm not expecting it to be any better. He didn't release an apology for the utter crap ending so much as a whiny ranting letter defending it.

Between this and Dragon Age 2, I'd say BioWare is officially screwed.

DA2 was utterly awfull from start to finnish, especially the finnish. I dont think i've played a worse bioware game ever. I could rant about that game for a long time.

ME3 was overall good. Though it started slightly off (Although flashy) i found the journey through the game quite enjoyable. I remember feeling the urge to replay it all as renegade with a new character, starting over all the way from ME1. But the last 10 min completly squashed that. Alot hangs in the balance of this so called "Fix" for the ending. Will it be free? Will it be DLC? Will it suck? Mah...

Due to spotty extranet service, I haven't finished. Why they tied one ending to having to play multiplayer I don't get. They may as well have made an MMO instead.

I've been a fan of Bioware since their AD&D days.

Well, you can avoid the multiplayer altogether and still get the 'best' endings. Just need to make sure you talk to everyone on the citadel and on the Normandy as often as possible. Oh, and system scanning of course.

I miss the side missions that you only found by scanning. I also miss driving the Mako around.

I don't miss the scanning of ME2 at all. >.> The Mako however, yes. I miss that nigh indestructible yet apparently light as a feather vehicle.

As an ST:SFC/ST:KA/ST:BC/STO player I would also have loved to be able to put the Normandy through its paces.

the most major reason people hates it is that the team lead that was working on it promised that there would be so many endings that would be so vastly different compared to each other, and that there wasn't going to be a "cookie cutter" ending that fits into it all with option A, B, and C, but guess what, the ending is a "cookie cutter" ending with just options A, B, and C, did you get the red explosion? the blue explosion? or the green explosion? that's what the endings have come down to, and it was something they stated they were Not going to do, when you say something like that its better for your reputation to actually do it, while finding a way to make them all fit in and seem possible with the direction the whole game went with, people probably wouldn't be as upset if there was some actual story in the ending cinema instead of just lots of cool looking effects.

Sadly this tends to happen to small game companies that develop a really cool product. Anyone remember Microprose? Spectrum Holobyte? Strategic Simulations, Inc.? Origin Systems? They were victims of EA as well.

Yeah, I can agree whole heartedly with that. The game was extremely amazing without the utterly confusing end that has no flexibility and makes no sense at all. Supposedly, Bioware is supposed to make a patch that will make fans happier, but they also said that they're trying not to compromise the "art of the story", so there's no telling what they have in mind.

the "art" of the ending is like finding a 3 year old's crayon doodle in an art museum.
