Evolving Art idea? (adoptables, might decide against it)

rose : On holdfirst off, IF I do decide to do these adoptables, YES THEIR FREE. I don't believe in paying for some picture/made up character, ESPECIALLY those high priced ones. A character people buy $50 for?! FUCK THAT NOISE!

No art is worth 50 bucks for a single character in a white background to me, sorry. ESPECIALLY when you have people offering free ones.

BACK TO THE MATTER AT HAND!
Last night after I made my journal about my art sorta evolving (this brought on the idea), I had thought about evolving adoptables thingies (when u lay in bed for half an hour unable to sleep, you think about weird things, lol). So, I thought about some adoptables, my friend Toren had made some (adoptables that is), and I was freakin excited to high hell because of it (but when you make adoptables of a scaly race that practically NEEDS snuggling, who couldn't be excited? lol), and I was exstatic when he gave me one, so I was thinking last night, why not make my own adoptables?Sure their not going to be all the same, or be easy to make, but it gives me something to do on the side along with my requests, because I found out why I loss the groove for art. I sometimes get bored with the picture and want to branch out and do my own art, and then I feel bad for doing my own art while I have requests to do, and then I just stop doing art all together (my bad timing doesn't help either though).
So I came up with these ideas for adoptables, EVOLVING adoptables. Its not just "heres ur adoptable, enjoy", no no noooooo, its much grander then that :D
ALL adoptables start off as an egg, and in 1 week time (im giving them their own timespan as well, so they actually have their own age to them), the egg will hatch, and out comes a little baby, miniature, piece WHATEVER it'll be, and it sticks around for another week or two, then it grows a bit more, to a second stage, at this point, they start to grow a bit faster, so I'd say about 5 days later, its a bit bigger, some features are more prominant, or it has something new, what have you. at the fourth stage, its fully matured, all of its features are visible, and its much larger then it was before. Then, it changes 1 last time, to a fifth stage, where it becomes (im not sure what to call it yet), either an Elder, or an Alpha, where it has added markings or apendages, or something to it to make it look different then its adult form, showing that it is, without a doubt, the highest stance of power it could ever reach.
Like I said, only an idea though, and I might decide against it depending on how people go with it (91% chance most of the people on my watch list just deleted this journal :/ and if not, thanks for reading this, makes me happy :D)
PS: Elder/Alphas can't be adopted, and remember, THIER FREE ADOPTABLES PEOPLE, thats code for NO MONEY NEEDED, like it should be. I wouldn't expect you to save some poor defenceless creature from my mentality and expect you to pay money for it. Your SAVING this thing from my mind! You have any idea what goes on in there?! I don't even wanna be in here!! DX

...if you make me one can the egg be green and purple :3 I LOVE green and purple!!
each adoptable is going to have its own orientation. Like some would be aquatic creatures, earth dwelling (like mice, groundhogs, gofers, etc), birds, wolves, but their also going to have an element to some of them as well, just to add in a fantasy feel to them, so im making an undead one for myself, and some other magical or fantasy styled ones or something. Theres going to be a whole different lot to them, but Ima think of what to make yours :)

"WHAT THOUGHT?! its LITERALLY the SAMe lineworks side by side, with just different colours. Im making freakin whole species, none of which are going to be the same, and im going to make them as detailed as I can, and im giving these things away for FREE. Are people allowing themselves to be suckered in THIS MUCH for a CHARACTER? I saw one, where it was 30 bucks for a traditional picture (but remember, your buying the character, not the picture), and they added in txt through some art program just to say their age, name, height, gender, orientation, likes and dislikes. Im making a whole freakin SPECIES and telling everything about it!
But hey, as they said, its all about thought put into the character being adopted, good to know my thought put into these characters is totally being out beaten by these pieces of trull :/
Yays, so I has 3 or 4 to make so far :D
I want my Lili and Midas to have to take care of a little egg, I'm already thinking of pictures for it. XD
also, I know ur sona/character has tentacles, would you like said egg adoptable to have tentacles as well? cuz if so, I has a good idea what to draw
