I have a 1280p wide 4:3 monitor and they are annoying. I can imagine someone with a widescreen it being unbearable

:shrug: It's not that bad for me, it helps to actually have some idea of what you're looking at before opening it, maybe if people can choose to change the size as a setting...

I haven't been online through my laptop yet so I can't speak to the new thumbnails, but I do agree that change for it's own sake is a terrible thing and has more often than not lead to the death of previously popular websites.

I'm undecided on them at this point. I agree with you about them taking up more space on the screen, but on the upside the larger images should enable me to more frequently go through and remove new images based on the thumbnails without opening them in a separate tab (though I will still have to be careful about when it may be a preview pic that's not a thumbnail of the actual image).

While I don't think you can change the size of the thumbs, you can go to control panel and site settings and get up to 60 per page still. At least you wont have to change pages as often maybe.

I do like the bigger thumbs as sometimes I couldn't tell whether I liked a picture enough to click on it before because of the size. This helps me out.

I would prefer we have a selector to pick what size we like. I prefer small, just like you do.

i for one hate it because A they didnt tell us really that it was happening and B it now takes longer to load a page because of the larger thumbnails and also slows up the page they dont ask us what we want yet we are what makeup whats on this site they dont really tell us anything and i think that sucks because without the artists and there hard work we would not have an fa page or website not to mention it made things difficult because when you were on the page during the day when they were working on it i couldnt even get on last night which really pissed me off i just wish they would ask us if we want the change or make it optional under settings if we want to change it back the way it was.

I still haven't seen the changes on my laptop, but I sure don't like how it is on my phone now. Before I could at least see the thumbnails, but now I can't even browse them. Oh well, so much for checking out FA on my phone while I'm at work or out and about. :(
