34 in mid-May. ...but it's funny you mention birthdays when we were young. My daughter had her 4th last Saturday and it was fun watching her open presents and get all sorts of neat toys that I never had. Handheld drawing tablets, portable video games... she's got more electronic toys that I ever did. I'm frightened what her generation of computer useage will be.

Oh yeah, birthdays were so fun as a kid! I remember how exciting unwrapping the gifts and going to my school friends' birthday parties and things like that were. Four is a fun age; it's good that your daughter had a good time :D

I turned 29 in March and everyone was like "DO YOU FEEL OLD YET?" and I was like "...No? Am I supposed to?"
My reaction was pretty bland "Oh, I'm 29.." and then I shrugged, drank some wine and played Mass Effect. XD

Maybe when I turn 30 I'll have a fun party, because birthdays as a kid were so awesome, I'd like to re-live that experience. So, balloons, cake, a water balloon fight, and maybe a pinata filled with candy... Yeah. This is happening!

I like birthdays! Because not having a birthday is kind of a bad thing. 8|

MY husband keeps telling me the same thing - that I'm making a big deal out of it now, but once the day passes and I realize that 27 feels exactly likes 26, I'll just kind of forget about it and it won't seem like such a big deal anymore. LOL, it is definitely a good point that having a birthday is far better then the alternative xD

And ohmygosh, the throwback birthday sounds ridiculously fun. Water balloon fii-iiight omg I want to go to a part like that now!

Honestly at 29 I don't feel any different from 19 XD I'm certainly more mature but physically I am actually healthier now than I was then! So I probably feel better!
