What happens when you ask a fat horse to trot?

TRUFFLE SHUFFLE!

I can post this now because my horse is no longer grossly obese (he's slimmed down to 'chunky'. That's the technical term.), and no longer crinkles and jiggles rhythmically when asked to trot.
Also, apologies for my constantly slumped shoulders/back. My riding is not pretty. :P

Chubby horsie is best horsie.
Glad he's slimmed down a bit now though. Gotta watch 'dem oats!
He's very pretty too by the way. I'm extremely envious. o///o
SO cute! I luv dat jiggle /)^u^(\
Challenge accepted.
His name is Odin, which he came with. He's not particularly godly. He was intended to be my jousting mount, but alas, since he is afraid of everything (puddles of pee, shadows on the ground, stones, plants... the list goes on) we're limited to putzing around and doing low level dressage. I haven't before this ever brought along a draft cross before, and I'm finding its much different than working with say, a stock horse breed. STUBBORNNESS is a factor. LOL And bending... and forward...
That and chunky horses are sooooo cuuuute! :D
I have no patience for people who don't feed their animals. *frowning, forever*
I always tell folks that if I win the lottery I'd feed hungry animals. Hehe.
I love draft cross ponies...they are so wonderful. Yours is adorable! And I must say better trained than my girl. She came from Gentle Giants Draft Horse rescue from a kill auction and she is pretty green. I am lucky enough to have a trainer working with her this spring and summer and I hope to look as good as your big guy soon!
Thanks for sharing! Fun video!
I love Gentle Giants! When I have time, I read the blog of a former volunteer there. :) I actually considered seeing if they'd adopt out of country (I'm in Canada) before I got my guy.
Your girl is a lucky duck to have been pulled from the kill pen. Thank you for adopting her; I only wish there were more people out there like you! :D
