No. Not in the least. Your watch or fave should be enough. I never expect to get reply's to my comments so I don't get upset either way. I can't speak for everyone, just myself.

nope, i do it all the time. i want my (and others) experience with art to be a joy, not a chore. if i, or someone else, has something to say then i, or they, will say it. otherwise, a watch or a fave sufficiently tells me "hey, i like what you're doing". unless there's something specific i need to address (if someone asks a question, for example) i do not respond to comments as well.

Nah. I hardly ever comment because I usually just end up repeating myself. Leaving posts like...

"Cool."
"This is awesome."
"Great Job."
etc.

It gets kind of repetitive. I only post a comment or reply to a comment if I actually have something worth saying.

Comment when you feel like you have something to say. I try to be at least somewhat substantive when I comment, so if I can't say much of anything beyond the fact I like something, I tend not to say anything (unless I really, really like it and just want that to be known).

And again, respond when you have something to say. If you feel that you just about never have something to say, that's okay, but perhaps you just need to think about it more. And if there's shyness in play, don't worry so much. Just speak your mind.

Nah. Though if you want more comments, replying to more of what you get is a great motivator for people. I know I don't bother to comment on a piece when I see that the artist never replies to any.

let's put it this way, the time you feel like this or get that urge to something; type it on the side and then put the comment in. This way, you didn't hold your feelings in and you get to make a strong comment when you feel there is a need.
