EDIT: it's buckram, yay! Thanks guys. If you personally like to use something different, please feel free to make additional suggestions, but that's the answer I was looking for. :3
Quick question for those of you who make fursuits/costumes!
What's the name of that ubiquitous mesh fabric that nearly everyone uses to make see-through parts of eyes/tear ducts/etc.? I know what the stuff looks and feels like, but not what it's called! (And just searching for "mesh" brings up a gazillion results, none of them what I'm looking for.) Any help would be appreciated, as I need to order some soon for a new project I'm working on. :D Thanks!!

I personally use screen and nylon since its easier to see out of.
Other makers use speaker fabric, which is a solid black. You can find speaker fabric/speaker cloth at most fabric stores, it'll be with the other utility fabrics (burlap, ticking, etc), and is a little stretchier than buckram. Speaker fabric doesn't have the same photo-flash blocking properties as buckram, but its application is more for places like tear-duct vision, or blacking out the inside of a mouth/nose for vision through there, where a large white piece of fabric would look strange.
