God. Well, art really. Saying God kind of draws a bit of negative attention in almost any context. Yet I think at the very core of beauty we find God, or perhaps vice versa. Isn't art, in some of its capacities, meant to embody and depict beauty? So then isn't the quest a spiritual one in some sense, the effort to depict God. Thats what art should be.

The best part of physical art such as drawings and what not is the realisation that God exists in the negative spaces, rather than the positive ones. Where there is a want or a lack, He fills the gap. When one is singing, orating, or reciting, He fills the silences. When one is thinking, He fills the pauses. God fills the meditation.
