...Because they conspired to kill my laptop.

I ended up with a can of Shasta Cola in my laptop bag in a 99 Cent Store bag to prevent laptop killing.

While I was walking to work, the bag got a HUGE hole in it, and my can of soda exploded. I didn't realize it until it started to leak through my bag onto my leg (so now I get to be cola stained for work too.) I immediately pulled out my laptop, which had cola gushing out of it. I realized that it was in sleep mode... I immediately did a hard shut down and removed the battery.

My laptop, external hard drive, charger, and phone charger were all in the bag at the time. I'm letting the external hard drive dry out as we speak.

As for my laptop. . . I'm on it as we speak. It seems to be functioning alright. Any moisture left within the system should be dried by the heat of the system and the movement of the air from the cooling fans. Although the system is OK, my screen is damaged. It's still usable, but quite annoying to have to look at all the dark spots.

Today looks like it's going to be a FUUUUN day. .__________________.
