Kitten Worries
I feeling a bit worried about one of my kittens, Maggie. We went away day before last to buy some new furniture and were gone over night. While this is not normally an issue as the kittens are generally fine by themselves over night now (although very clingy when we get home), I noticed yesterday afternoon while I was flopped out on the couch that Maggie's bottom lip is a bit droopy on her right side.
At first we just assumed that she had tried to eat a bee or a wasp and it had stung her, since being the little spazz butts that both kittens are, they enjoy eating bugs (and I have had to take a couple bees and a wasp off both of the kittens at one stage or another). However, when I was sitting on the couch watching Sponge Bob, Maggie was relaxing with me and let me have a better look at her face and in particularily the right side of her mouth. I saw a dark patch of red, assuming it was blood as it was too red for her pink gums, and noticed that one of her bottom teeth is now sticking outwards, not normal.
She's still eating and drinking alright and playing like she normally would, though I haven't seen her rough and tumble with Pepsi and they usually do that at least once a day, so I'm not too worried that it's causing her much discomfort, though I am worried about her. Both kittens go into the vet on Wednesday (it's Monday today and a public holiday to boot) to get neutered, so I'll probably ask the vet to have a proper look at it then. Unless it gets worse, then I'll have to call my mother-in-law to take me to the vet to get her checked out.
Just worried and not really sure where to express my concerns and sorry for rambling. Just worried about it. It looks clean from the brief look I had earlier.

keep an eye on the kits and if it gets worse, take them to the vet ASAP. it sounds like a broken tooth maybe. poor kit might have taken a fall or something and broken it. get the vet to take a look when you take them in, get an xray on it. if its a broken tooth you'll want it removed properly or it might get infected

yeah, i am keeping an eye on both her and Pepsi (my other kitten) and was already planning to take her to the vet if it gets worse or if not, get the vet to take a proper look at it on Wednesday morning when they go in to get neutered. It is possible she's taken a fall, she loves climbing trees and what have you.

mm, might be a broken fang then, I'm not sure.

broken fangs don't tend to push the bottom tooth outwards though. she's going to the vets regardless this week anyway and they'll be able to help her.
