I think my best shot is, I worked for the company that invented Dragon's Lair. I joined them after its initial success, but beta tested the sequel, a sci-fi followup called Space Ace.
I played the game so much that when one of the staff writers pointed out there were already so many Richards working there, what should they call me? The game's attract mode spoke: "Call me Ace, huh?" and I parroted it, jovially. I was known as "Ace" at that job and no other. And many arcade games often take only 3 letters to "sign" your high score, and when I do, it is to this day A-C-E.
