Heh, I woulda been there if I had a ride. Once I realized I wasn't going to be busy with school, I was mentally set to go. Still, without a car, anyone local I could ask for a ride from, or any bus routes to speak of, it kinda didn't happen for me. :P

I hope you can make it next year, how far away are you from Novi? *hugs*

I'm ten minutes away, supposedly. I mean, I go to school in Livonia, which is pretty much right next door.

Thing is, I can't exactly tell the parents "Hey, can ya take me to the furry con?" XP

Don't got a license, so I can't drive myself (gonna take care of that this summer).

I got a little annoyed at a few folks saying I was making excuses. I'll admit, I was telling people I had school to pay attention to, and I turned out to be wrong about how busy I'd be with that, but when I don't know local folks to get a ride, there's no buses, the fact that I'm a close driving distance becomes irrelevant. >_>;

Ah, I understand your situation, and yeah, that can be awkward to discuss with parents. I was a closet furry for so many years, and when I finally told them about it, they weren't all that surprised at all. Hopefully you'll find a way to go, maybe after you finish school and move, because once you go to one (especially a fun one like FCN), you will be hooked. :D I'll soon be posting some pics from the con, so please check 'em out! :D
