Sketch-commissions like these: example one example two
Would you consider these commission-material: Y / N
If yes, what would be a fair price?
Your input would be really appreciated. c:

I'd say depending on character complexity 3-8 usd sounds good (8 if the chara is CRAZY COMPLICATED), in general 5 sounds like a good price but... Might be a bit much for simple charas.
The sketches in the first example all took about 1h30 to make (except for the first one, which took well over 2h), the bust about 1h.
If I convert 5$ to euros I come out to about 4 euros, which does seem reasonable for a chibi of a simple character.
Thanks for weighing in! c:
They're super cute btw.
I've barely drawn full figures these last months. :'D
Which is why doing some sketches from time to time definitely is fun.
Especially since I need to practice drawing muzzles and such more.
Thanks for weighing in! ^-^
And if proper credit is give, I don't see why not. I already have a habit of sharing line arts I'm proud of as a resource when it comes to personal art, so I don't see why it should be different for commissions. :)
As for the bust, depending on how clean the lines are (of if you're going for that marker kinda look and only coloring clothing/hair) maybe 10-20? Depending on the character and details added.
Maybe you can offer these in full color? Adding on $2+ depending on markings and complexity, you could also try and do these in a more realistic scaling as well if you're trying to sell these for more. Could even offer simple backgrounds as well with an added amount to the original.
For the other chibi-sketches I'm definitely leaning towards 4 euros, which is about $ 5. For something that takes around an hour to make, I think that's fair.
The busts / full bodies from 6 euros (bust) and up for full bodies could work, though i'm still debating whether I should add it to my commission-card or not.
