The only thing you really can do (that I've found) is add a different background, like the background color for the FA page.

It's what I did for a while, but then I noticed there's a lighter, 'default' version of the background as well as the dark one.
So I stopped doing it since it probably made my submissions look pretty odd for the users who use the lighter background. D:

Yeah I noticed the lighter BG with my ID for my profile :<
This site is kinda like Flickr, they sometimes screw over transparents (gifs and pngs) and the images get really distorted beyond their original look

Ack, remind me not to upload my animated pixel art here either then. D:
