I don't think anyone really thinks that way, some might say it because they fantasise such things... but obviously we are all humans and one would not wish harm upon oneself, unless that person was kinda crazy.

There appear to be people who view themselves as actually being anthros/dragons/whatnot and somehow think of themselves as superior to humans, or "hy00mans", and I don't want to be mistaken for one of those.

It don't matter what you use as prey, SOMEONE will be weird about it.

I've had people complain that I never feature human prey. :p

If somebody complains about what I draw, I don't care, that's their problem, not mine. ;)

What I want to avoid is that my human prey vore stuff gets mistaken for some "we anthros/furries/scalies/dragons are better than them humans"-elitist idea. D:

Hmmm, looks like I didn't express myself very well in the original post.

I have no problem with whiners. I rarely get whined at, and should it happen I don't care much. ;3

My problem are misanthropist elitist comments, not on my own gallery stuff, but generally here and there, here on FA. Reading about that humans are inferior, that "we anthros are so much better than them" can be so off-putting at times that I -on bad days- have even been thinking about leaving this site for good. D: But then the better of me tells me to stay, because not everybody are like that, actually most people are definitely not. :D

So the purpose with my original post was to say even though I draw humans as prey, in really perilious situations, I'm no such misanthropist. My reasons are something completely different.

Ah. I think I skimmed too fast (and hadn't had the full benefit of coffee yet). Yeah, I've seen a few of those types comments too. Gotta wonder how much is serious (crazy) consideration and how much is shtick. :3

Originally, I took it to be just about roleplay or similar, but then there were comments sounding too serious to be just about imagination, or comments even stating that "this is not roleplay" or "this is not just about fantasy". I did some research and found that there are indeed people seriously into such. Hopefully not many though. I don't mind if somebody want to view themselves as actually being anthros/dragons/elves/demons/unicorns/etc, it's the "we are better than them humans" attitude some of them have which gets at me.

I like the ones where they draw their badass wolfsona killing a bunch of humans in some trenchcoat-mafia style freakout as "revenge" for how horrible all those humans in high school are to the artist
