Well, that's just prrfect...

I got rear-ended on my way to work today. =x.x=
Basically, I was driving down the highway and noticed the traffic ahead of me slowing down. I slow down with them, then next thing I know, I hear tires screeching behind me, then BAM! =@.@=
Luckily, no one's hurt. Even more luckily, the car's still drivable, so I was still able to limp my way into work. The right rear tail-light and right side of the bumper got bashed in good, though. Also, the lower rear window is completely shattered (the Prius has two rear windows in the back).
I THINK what happened was the guy was in the lane to the right of me (I was in the leftmost lane). He noticed too late the traffic building up in front of him, slammed on the brakes, then swerved into my lane. He wound up skidding and doing a 180, bashing into my rear in the process, then slamming HIS right rear corner into the highway concrete barrier.
Unfortunately, since it's the weekend, I can't really drop off my car for repairs until Monday. =@.@=

Hope you get everything taken care of without too much of a hassle. Just a thought, do jedi mind powers work for auto-insurance claims?
Despite what happened, at least you have a peace of mind that it's not your fault and that the guy who hit you will repair your car.
