They kicked a lot of ass at Coachella about 10 minutes ago. Cedric was back in hyperactive comic form, Omar was somewhat enjoying the music, Jim was Jim, and both Paul and Tony were just jamming it out like bosses. I seriously hope this is a permanent reunion. It would be fun to see both the Mars Volta and At the Drive-In playing at the same concerts. And hell, they'd probably make a great team.
Totally worth getting sleep-deprived over. My ass was not ready for what transpired over these 40 minutes. Perfect, very perfect. Hope somebody's recorded the entire concert.
