Yep. Planning on making them fully functional. I don't think it's something to be ashamed of if you have sex in suit - as long as you clean the suits and heads very well after fun - BEFORE going in public with them. I don't know, I don't really care for it, or about it. But I had seen that it had been a category when submitting a picture on FA for a looooong time.

I'm wondering if this is because of the furries on Adult Swim the other night. I only saw part of it, but the two on it were fine and normal, and it was John C. Riley who made jokes about having a dick fashioned to the costume he wore.

That's not what this is about. the stuff that's getting deleted now is stuff like completely innocent pictures of normal fursuits in "mildly suggestive poses." It's not against AUP, and never has been, but will be soon as the admins try to cover for their fuckup by adding it.

Here's the problem. Like it or not, there's responsibility that comes with running a community oriented site. Saying that it's their site and they can do what they want is true, in a literal sense, just as saying that if a company wants to abuse their customers, they can do that, because it's their company/service. You can argue semantics all you want, but it's the same thing, and FA *is* a company, and its users *are* customers, by the legal and qualitative definition of the term.

But most companies are run by qualified individuals who understand the consequences and repercussions of their actions, and know that abusing their customers is unwise. Even assuming FA doesn't give two shits about its users (it doesn't) it's still a business, and this is a very bad way to run a business. The fact that they are undermining their own business model of a community art site by pissing off members of the community without even gaining anything in return by doing so, demonstrates the utter incompetence of the staff, and proves that people are justified in disliking them for it.

Now, even so, this still does not make it OK. That's what consumer protection agencies exist for, and why class action lawsuits happen. People who are dissatisfied with a service provided, or expected, can cause all kinds of misery for a dysfunctional company that fails to deliver. That's what's happening here. Just because something like this is subjective doesn't mean it's acceptable, or right. If people are pissed off at the admins for this, that's fine, and if people leave, gripe, moan, or otherwise disrupt the site because of it, frankly, the admins have it coming because of the way they handle shit like this.

I think we are upset because they are over reacting..
