Nudist Furry Semi-Rant (Plus, a question. Please Read)

Hey, guys. Just letting you all know that thanks to a certain individual, I'm becoming a sort-of nudist-in-training for the time being, hoping for it to become full-fledged eventually.
But here's the problem with that... It turns out my mom is anti-nudist. She thinks that nudism is like exhibitionism and any real nudist out there can tell you not only that, but that it's not a sexual thing, either. And that sexualizing nudism is a HUGE no-no in those circles. She thinks that just because I'm a nudist, that I'm just parading my naked body around online and posting pictures of my naked irl body online. I'm not stupid. Shit like that is forever once you post it and it can ruin any prospect you can have of ever getting a job unless you're applying to be a stripper and honestly, I'm too shy for that and I don't want a job like that, even if anyone local were hiring. She even implied that she'd throw me out of the house if she ever found me showing my naked body online. To her, I say, "My body, my choice. So butt out."
Heck, I even pointed out a big advantage to at least wearing my robe around the house. Since I'm not currently in a position of really needing to go anywhere important for the most part, I just go around the house in my robe, being naked underneath, just to spare my folks the sight of my nekkid. I do this because since I don't go anywhere for the most part, getting dressed is pointless because I'd just wear my clothes, lay in bed for the most part, and since I'm in the hottest room in the house during this spring-going-on-summer weather, if I wear clothes, I'm gonna be sweating a lot more than I should be, even with the AC on. Plus, clothes in this weather just feel uncomfortable. Anyway, my point is, if I'm just gonna be staying in my room all day for the most part, what's the point in needlessly getting dressed just to take it off again at the end of the day and end up making more work for her (because she does the laundry) while putting myself in an uncomfortable situation in more ways than one? Any real nudists, I would greatly appreciate your feedback on this matter, please. And if any of you know a real nudist (online or irl), please show them this journal and ask them to comment on it.
P.S. Are there any actual nudist fur groups on FA? Cuz if so, I'd really like to join ^^

Becoming a nudist seems an interesting propostal for yourself however the only oposition I would recall is that there must be cold most of the year XP and well, clothes' main purpose is protection, then comes the aesthetic purpose (for example certain kind of color, pattern, texture and fabric for pants which make your legs look thinner but underneat those are well built and averagely thick)
I personally would NEVER do that, most of the time I keep covered 87% of my body (having bare only head and hands, usually wearing long sleeved shirts)(with exception of while taking swimming lessons, and even so my swimsuit is long enough to cover from below the navel to above the knees) and I don't quite see pointless being fully dressed if not going anywhere.
As well I'm a really fond on elengance and fancy designs, or just decent clothes combined apropiatedly.
I mean, if I was trapped on a deserted island and for some reason having lost all of my clothes first thing I would do after finding at least a clean water source is make a loincloth XP
It's up to you, I can't help it but to wish you luck with that.
As well if you were going to post pics of yourself IRL wearing nada, I would certainly like to see those X3
