...now for those who don't know, that is one of my all time favorite games, but not only that, the soundtrack is probably responsible for me having such a love for videogame music, and influences a lot of my writing all the time.
I was so SAD!
This song is still one of my favorites, but there are so many good ones. AAAAH.

Anyway. If you have never played this game, please oh please do yourself a favor and pick i up on the wii virtual console (or emulate it BUT I DIDN'T SAY THAT) and be blown away by the era when graphics didn't matter and gameplay and music did. <3

But yes, that is beautiful music. It's giving me nostalgia and I haven't even played the game...
The era that you are speaking of... when the gameplay mattered, when the music mattered, when the story mattered... those were the best games ever created.
I don't mean to sound pushy, but I actually just started a Let's-Play of my personal favorite, Star Control 2, and I'm going to begin posting videos tomorrow. I can send you a link if you'd like- you can get the game for free online (completely legally).
Hmm... I'm having some flashbacks right now... There are some really great games out there: I hope to be able to play Secret of Mana sometime. Thanks for sharing.
