So, I just finished it over the course of....four or five days? I guess that's sad, but still, pretty good. My thoughts...the animation seemed sort of cheap, and I noticed A LOT of shortcuts and holds and the like. But hey, that's anime for you. But at least it comes complete with hot and running water (lolusofunnyapoclypsemon). I will admit, I expected it to be childish, and I was proven wrong. I will admit, scenes such as the mind over matter with the ghost Digimon were VERY cheesy and childish, but overall, it felt like more of a teenagers' show.
Now for the part you were probably expecting from me. SHIPPING.
Obviously, there's the admitted TentomonxIzzy. Damn, never thought the kid was swinging that way. Then, there's the heavily hinted at JoexMimi. I don't have to like it, but it seems canon. Next, we have the popular Tai (put "hen" before his name, heh heh) and Matt bromance. Well...I can't say that it's likely, but I guess if it was pushed it could happen somehow. I also sense an overall DigimonxDigidestined. Especially GabumonxMatt and GomamonxJoe. ESPECIALLY the latter. Gomamon is gay. Nuff said. He hasn't gone after the girls once, blushes every time Joe compliments him, and c'mon, do straight guys have the guts to swim in a bathtub full of girls? You may want to, but chances are you don't have the balls to. And then Gabumon...I just get that feel. But meh. And then you get the AgumonxGabumon. Granted, it would seem a good choice as them rebounding (not to mention being a cute as all hell couple) if lets say they tell their Digidestined how they feel but they don't feel the same way. Next you get TKxKari. No. Just no. Too young. Same goes for Patamon and Gatomon, although I guess both being Ange's it could work for them. There's also the briefly mentioned PalmonxMimi, but I had the feeling that that one was more of a sisterly feel.
