I love how after I met some people at the con, they no longer talk to me on here. are my first impressions really THAT bad?

i dont think its you. why would it be you? who wouldnt want to be friends with a dolphin? :D
most of the time things just fall apart when you drive back home and you know you wont see each other for a year or so.

Some people meet face to face and don't see much use in talking with people online that much anymore. I'm the same way unless I meet locals, then I talk to them online. If they avoid you next time you see them at a con then they're just being assholes. That seems to happen to me a lot. X3

one person I met online was just springing sexual suggestions to me left and right, so I kind of avoided HIM. another was really cool, and we didn't talk much cause I had other stuff to do, but I didn't think I was THAT bad, lol.

Yeah a lot of people tend to do that. creepy people like that need to be avoided. lol But I'm sure you weren't bad, just people are weird with online conversations after they meet irl. If I see you at any cons I'll let you know if you leave a bad impression, though it's really hard to make me think that. Only creepy old people tend to leave bad impressions on me, mostly cause they throw sex into the convo every 2.5 seconds and it disgusts me.

I'm not really that sexual... so I know I don't come off that way. it's probably that I'm really shy and uncomfortable. especially since it was my first con. I felt like a little kid lost in a neighborhood :c

I tend to be all shy and quiet to the first time I meet people. My first con I didn't have to much trouble though. I just had a few drinks and became a social butterfly. Met a few people I've talked to online for awhile and chatted a bit. I did avoid one guy cause he seemed to be on drugs and was super awkward.

You going to any other cons this year? I'll be at AC this year. I'm gonna be so lost there. X3

that's the problem. I don't drink... I'd LOVE to, considering it's the perfect ice-breaker for these kinds of occasional, but I'm too scared to risk it :\

Just don't go overboard with it and you'll be fine. I've seen some really idiotic people though. Last con I had to keep 2 fursuiters balanced till I got them to the headless room where I pushed them in the direction of a table and quickly walked the fuck away. I haven't seen someone that drunk in awhile but apparently they knew me somehow and where like "holy shit Miles what's up we're drunk" *derpfaces* lol

I tend to leave a bad first impression on people in general. most of my RL friends have admitted that they didn't like me at first, but eventually got to know me.

I'm not surprised. I was supposed to meet a friend at that con, and he was dressed in a fox/zebra (I don't know what his sona is... but it stands out lol) fursuit.

sorry :c I plan to go to more cons though. it was fun as hell

I wouldn't so much consider you one of the people I'm talking about. although I'm pretty sure it'll end up that way :l

I know I was awkward or whatever, but think about it, we're talking about a neurotic self conscious guy who's never been to, or seen a furry (con) in RL. lol
