So yea, apaprently mom told my dad a while ago that im gay, so now he knows. He wold me while we were on vacation in key west that he knew, and more importantly that it does not bother him in the slightest. I feel now that he has talked to me that there is alot less tension between us. i feel like for a while leading up to this we kinda strayed away from eachother a bit, but now everything feels alot more relaxed. he is already taking a more proactive approach to my being gay then mom. he just came up into my room and said that he had a talk with my old skating coach, Jimmy (who is gay), saying that Jimmy wanted me to have his number because he knows how had it can be to grop up like that, and how harsh the world can be sometimes.

Overall i dont really know how to react to all this. i mean, for a long time leading up to this, i always would act "straight" around my parents. and that acting really made being home alot very diffacult for me. now that it is out, at least to my parents, i dont really know what to do, and how to feel about it. in the long run, im glad that this happened and i know that there are a million and one ways that it could have gone worse. but, idk.. the status quo that i have established at home for the past 2 years now has changed once again.i keep telling myslef that he has known for a while, so this doesnt really change much, but i cant help feeling that it does..i guess for the time being ill just ride it out, and see where this leads..
