This weekend! Exciiiiteeeeed.

Gonna be going to the Maguuma server. No doubt there is going to be a lot of server fluctuation, but that's where I'll be if anyone wants to hit me up.

I'm so ready for a new game like this to play.

I dunno! I figured D3 has a limited lifespan much like SC2. Sure you can keep playing but it loses its appeal after a shorter length of time as opposed to an MMO.

GW2 kinda looks more promising than D3 in my opinion, it's super inovative and plus it's an mmo. But to each his own :p

I think this is the last hurrah for MMO's for me. After the pas 8 years of disappointments and dumbing down of gameplay, the stuff that's out now makes me believe that it's not just nostalgia goggles that are taking effect.

Here's to hoping the community at large is not just a bunch of disjoint guilds with some weak underlying story connecting them all.

Did you prepurchase or preorder? I do believe there is a difference (preorders dont get guaranteed beta access). However - I did not get email notification either. Try logging into their forums at forum.guildwars2.com and the download link is there. Or you could wait for the email. Whichever works for you!

I agree, I'm very happy and looking forward to this weekend. From Friday night till Sunday night I'm AFK to everything, except GW2, food, drink and maybe a lil bit sleep.

I'll be playing on EU servers...though if I'm not mistaken you can visit other servers as a guest, so...I'll see ya anyways :P

If the regions aren't locked. You can play your home-characters on any server, but they never really explained the nature of EU/US server differentiation.

Just a quick word of warning! Maguuma is at the bottom of the barrel WvWvW wise. So if you want to play that, I'd switch to Anvil Rock. :)

Very simply.. playing the beta. I was in the first event and the stresstest. Both times Maguuma was at the very bottom WvWvW wise. Again, if you don't plan on PvPing don't worry about it.

The majority of people arent even playing yet. Those who got picked for beta got picked for computer specs or if they were press. I wouldn't base a conclusion on that kind of information. 'Sides, I can always move to another server later easily enough.
