Well, I dunno about anyone else, but that was kinda fun for me. I got to say some things that a lot of people were thinking, but didn't have the "backbone" (to quote one of the illustrious mods over there) to say. Had it been directed towards anyone other than who it was, I wouldn't have been banned. But you know, there's no hate, no hard feelings, and honestly, there are a lot of people over there that genuinely do need to grow up and quit the abuse of so-called "power."

I have to say this: I think your comment to Kannakin was extremely uncalled for, and I really thought you were better than that. I'll tell you now that you didn't speak for me.

I am directing the "grow up" comment to the forumites, not to the mods. I don't believe the mods are abusing their power. If anything, they're not using them enough. You only have to I don't believe they're going too far when they tell peole who are, quite frankly, being rude asshats to other forumites to STFU. I like the forums. I don't like conflict. I don't have energy for conflict.

Go ahead and think that I've got my nose up the mod's asses, or whatever. I'm so goddamned sick and tired of watching human beings turn on each other because it's the internet and anonymous. There's a person behind that screen, it would do well to remember that.

Uncalled for, mayhaps, but believe me, I'm not the only one who thunk it. I've been sick of the whole forum for quite some time. The politics, the playing of favorites, it was worse than a group of cliques in high school, people making fake problems up for attention included. I have little to no tolerance for people who hide behind a certain amount of "power" to get away with attitude and snarky comments expecting no response because of said power. Some people need to be put in their place and realize that they're not as high and mighty as they attempt to act. Sorry I had to be the martyr to do so. Ignoring a blatant normally bannable offense (multiple accounts), then turning around and targeting someone with a legitimate point hardly applies to a "good decision" on the part of a mod. Has nothing to do with human beings turning on eachother. Has everything to do with having absolutely no respect for people, on the internet, or in real life, who beg for attention via fake ailments, who hide behind a curtain of perceived power to get away with murder, so to speak, and what grinds my gears the most about that place, people so blindly follow power in the hopes of gaining some themselves, that calling someone out causes a certain someone to claim Tet and Vinci don't run the forum on their own server. That put it over the edge for me. When a certain someone turned around and claimed power over the system over the person who actually OWNS it, I snapped. Being a sys admin myself, I have NO tolerance to speak of for people who think they're so godlike that they don't have to answer to the legal owner of a bit of property. That's as bad as keying someone's car, pissing on someone's grave, that's some of the utmost display of disrespect someone can show. Until I see, or hear of a written apology to those involved, my statements all stand, and honestly, it's doubtful that said certain someone will ever see a shred of respect out of me again. Takes a lot to lose my respect. A HELL of a lot. But after the events of the other day, there are a great number of people that have simply thrown that out the window. But hey, I'm the one without a backbone, as one of the infallible mods has already stated behind my back, after I was banned. He's showing some REAL integrity and courage with that one.
