I've beaten it, thanks to someone making a whoops on steam, my overall impressions is it's alot better then episode 1 and physics don't feel as chunky, and the bosses actually feel original and new unlike the recycling from Ep1. Although its still rather eh as still not as much platforming as i would like and physics still feel wrong at times, and difficulty is rather easy thanks to the fact you can abuse tails to fly out of pits with a single button push. Special Stages can be also easy thanks to the fact you can start over the stage with the retry option in the main menu, and finally still very short at a $15 price tag. Overall at least you get the sense they tried unlike with EP1 just wish they make a full developed length game like new super mario bros
