I forgot a little bit how much I want to do them. I miss my old equipment. I had about $1200 worth in machines, a nice power supply, gloves, needles, grips, tubes, etc...but all of it was stolen by the guy who fucked me over.
So I'm replacing it with cheap shit.
I bought some cheap needle tubes in a dozen on an impulse just now. I have one machine (a gift from a friend who knows next to nothing about machines...she picked an okay one and I love it) I'm going to try to tune up. I found a $20 LCD power supply on Ebay that's most likely a piece of shit. It'll probably tattoo oranges okay though so I'm going to buy it.
Wish me luck guys. <3

I don't pretend to know all the details but I know there are certain settings and ways you have to change and tinker with supplies to make sure the power goes through constantly and won't fuck up or cut out in the middle of a tattoo. Sub-par wiring, shitty construction, bad soldering, etc can all create a bad connection which create an equally bad-quality power supply. c:
We're talking about something that specifically measures out and delivers a specific amount of energy for a very intricate art. Why would I use something built for an entirely seperate industry? o.o;
We should come down to Florida so we can get one from you and we can all hang out like bros yknow?
Do it! Soon as I'm good enough and have a sterile working environment, that is x3
I worked in a shop for six months x) You can trust me to take all the precautions I need to.
